This is the video of my spinal fluid dripping out,

Yesterday i had a pressure reading of 33 and they took 12ml out.

3 weeks ago i had a pressure of 48 and they took 28 ml out ..

it is all a balancing game trying to keep my levels at the right pressure... but 33 is still way to high ... and i still have a headache everday.... i didnt have one yesterday after the LP but it is back this morning at about a 5/10 it is not really painful but i can feel it is there...

Thank GOD I was beginning to think I was the only person that had this person. Yeah those LP's aren't fun. Have you had any problems with eyesight? I am just amazed that someone else understands what I feel like. Don't worry I am not a stalker or anything just in shock I haven't meet anyone else that has the same thing I was just diagnosed and live in a rural area in Alabama so it's not like we have support meetings set up. It would be nice though to have someone to talk to when you feel like it. I am on Diamox so I sleep alot. I hope you feel better can't say get well cause they don't have a cure for this yet. Nice to meet you so to speak. HAPPY EASTER by the way my name is Shannon.

Your blog is great. I was first diagnosed when about 8 weeks pregnant with my son over 10 years ago. At that time there was almost no on-line information available on IIH.

Hey. I also suffer with BIH. I was diagnosed the day before my 12th birthday. I too have had a number of these lumbar punctures, however I dont have to have them anymore due to being fitted with a permanent lumbar peritoneal shunt- it has been my saviour. I had the first one fitted when i was 12- unfortunately this one broke 3 years later and i got all my symptoms of headaches and double vision back so i had the shunt redone when i was 15 and i have had it ever since without any problems, i am now 21. Unfortunately if this shunt decides to break in the near future i will have to have the shunt that is put into the head as doctors do not normally favour the lumbar shunts anymore. Fingers crossed that my shunt lasts a while yet. It is great being able to talk to others who have suffered the same- i dont feel like im alone. hope you guys are all feeling well btw my name is Sally, from Chester, England.
